“I’m proud to introduce my team: Kate Neubert, Jacob Pinheiro, and Jameson Grimes. Each one of them plays a vital role at Morgan Cromer Cutting Horses. We share a common love of the horse industry and a respect for the horses we are privileged to ride. “~Morgan Cromer
Kate grew up in Northern California riding, roping and starting a variety of horses with father, renowned horseman and clinician Bryan Neubert. The experience and knowledge she gained throughout childhood ultimately led her to a career in the performance horse industry. Kate has worked in the cutting, reining and cowhorse industries, training horses and competing in all three disciplines. She credits Morgan Cromer and Russ Westfall with her introduction to the cutting horse world. Kate met Morgan at age 21 and the two quickly became friends while working together at Russ Westfall’s training facility in Los Olivos, CA. They would later branch out to start MC Cutting Horses.
Kate’s passion for developing young performance horses has been crucial to the success of MC Cutting Horses. She strives to build a strong foundation in young horses, ultimately seeing the results of her work as horses progress to competition. Kate also enjoys showing and helping clients progress in and out of the show pen. Some of her achievements include winning the 2012 PCCHA Intermediate Open Futurity in 2012 and advancing two horses to the semi-finals at the 2014 NCHA Futurity, her first year to show at the prestigious event.
Kate’s enthusiasm for learning and helping reaches beyond her job. She is an active member of Atascadero Bible Church where she participates in local community service events. Kate has also traveled to Turkey and Croatia to do service work with her church. Kate is excited for future opportunities to show great horses and to continue to be an integral part of MC Cutting Horse’s growth and success.
